What we offer
HAP Badminton Centre of Excellence focuses on identifying athletes with an aptitude for badminton and nurturing their talent. Established under the Hatsun Sports Trust and funded through the CSR activity of HAP, the centre is poised to grow into the ideal platform for honing badminton skills of next-generation athletes. Our motivated and dedicated team is committed towards providing world-class facilities for athletes located at different parts of India. We ensure talented athletes are trained by highly experienced coaches for improving their badminton skills.
Ajith Haridas
Chief Mentor
Ajith was born into a family of skilled Badminton players. He took to the game at the tender age of 8, under the tutelage of national coach Sanjiv Sachdeva. From there on Ajith went from strength to strength, representing and bringing victory to Tamil Nadu.
He has over 30 years of experience in the game and has a number of titles to his name including 5 National championship titles. He has also represented India at senior world championships. Now as a passionate, dedicated badminton coach and mentor, he looks to identify and nurture talent, and build champions that the country can be proud of.

Well-planned Training Arena
Equipped with 8 badminton courts that can be scaled up to 16 courts, the centre is the ideal environment for practicing the sport.
Nutritious and Hygienic Diet
A well-balanced diet plan designed by qualified sports nutritionists is prepared by our in-house food experts in a full-fledged hygienic kitchen.
Emphasis on education
Trainee athletes continue their education at RJ Mantra school at Virudhunagar under flexible syllabus and attendance plan. Good performers can avail scholarships and fee waivers.
World-class facilities for resident athletes
Outdoor athletic training track, physio room, separate steam room for boys and girls, and comfortable dormitories for athletes. Stay facility for coaches and visiting parents provided.
